Spanish River Resort and Campground is a special place with some of the best ice fishing in all of Ontario but space is limited.

Ice fishing is the best when you have a hut waiting for you here along the waters of the Whalesback in the North Channel. Fun for the whole family.

Ice Hut Rentals – Jan 1 – March 15 (Depending On Weather And Ice)
A few ice huts are setup at various spots and you are welcome to try one or all of them!
The huts are setup once ice thickness is safe to transport on the ice.

The huts are for day use and you must have your own transportation from the parking area out to the hut.

Ice huts are equipped with wood stove and shore lunch cooking utensils.

Parking is available just 2 minutes off of Highway 17. There is a place to unload your sleds and park trucks and trailers.
Best to book in advance.

Ice Hut Rentals
Monday – Friday – Base Daily Price – $75 one bundle of wood included.
Saturday and Sunday – $100 one bundle of firewood provided.*Transportation not provided.

Customer Owned Ice Huts
Towing out to your desired safe location and block
($) 100 per hour, Min. 2 hours or part there of, for towing, blocking and setup.
Size and weight required to determine if service can be provided. Please email and include a picture of your ice hut.
