Ice fishing is available throughout the winter months, conditions permitting.
A variety of fish make Island Lake their home, including Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Black Crappie, Yellow Perch and other pan fish.
Connect with nature and explore 820 acres of lake, wetland and forests, located at the headwaters of the Credit River in Orangeville.
Experience everything nature has to offer. Cast a line, paddle on the lake, walk the trails, or picnic by the forest. In the colder weather, safely explore a frozen lake with a fishing rod, skates or snowshoes.
Enjoy the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail, the park’s signature eight kilometer trail, that leads you around the perimeter of the lake.
