The season runs from January 1st until the end of September and there are slot size restrictions (all lake trout between 40 and 55 cm (15.5 – 21.5 inches must be released). The bass season opens the 4th Saturday in June and runs through to the end of November. They can be quite active throughout the summer and are typically caught across from the resort along the drop-off areas, although they can even be caught off of our docks from time to time.
Lake Trout and Smallmouth Bass are the most common fish species. The fishing for both species is quite good. In fact, the lake trout fishing is very good through the ice in winter as well as early and late in the season.
